The Wedding of Our Dreams - April 30th & May 1st

Mark and I started talking about getting married back in november of 2009, and talked to our bishops. we were ulitimately going to wait till october of 2010 but BOTH our bishops in meetings we each had seperately with them were pushing the question of "why are you(we) waiting?" well at the time, what seemed logic and the right thing to do. is to save up and have the enough amount so that we're able to live on our own when we first got married and were able to help pay for the wedding and start to pay off bills and other things we thought of. but to much of both Mark and I's surprise and shock we were told, NO! Our bishops told us that there is no need to "wait" you're NEVER going to have enough money to help pay for the wedding, or never enough to save up and have before you get married and paying off debt is something that will take a lifetime and they both said besdies by the time you want to get married and the time you actually get married you two will be blessed and will miss out on so much if you wait, and oh my were they right! So mark and I figured we better listen (like they know what their talking about or something, lol :)) and as you could see below we got engaged on December 23rd. So began the wedding planning, a time in my life i'll never forget and wish it would of last lasted longer, it went by SO fast! but i'll always cherish it with all the late night planning and figuring out the small details and all that goes into making a wedding so memorable and non forgetting. I am SOO glad mark and I choose to splt our wedding and reception into two days instead of cramming it all into one.
