The beginning to OUR eternity
Then on December 6th is when mark began what will affect the our reltionship through the eternities and following many generations after us, asking my dad for my hand in marriage. At first my dad thought Mark was going to ask him about his car but much to his surprise it was MUCH more then that. My dad was delighted to invite Mark into our family and of course my family was exciting about getting me out of the house. From the 6th through the 23rd of December was my waiting time, pondering on when he was going to do it. And such is then, on December 23rd Mark asked for my hand in Marriage. How did he do it you may be asking yourself, Well. Mark came and picked me up from work and drove to the temple. We walked around the temple hand-in-hand, side-by-side, i do have have to admit i have a greater perspective for seeing the temple lights and displays they have during the day then at night. Then as we walked back around the temple he led me to the area where the cactus's are, where he asked me to sit on the bench and that he'll be back he needs to go get something out of the car. While he was going to the car I was pondering to my self and began to put the puzzle pieces together. Mark then came back with a basket where he asked that I closed my eyes. As I had my eyes close, i could hear the crinkle of what i thought was plastic wrap, which to my surprise, after he asked that i open my eyes it was. When i opened my eyes there he had laying in his arms a bouquet of Sunflower and Roses (which happen to be our wedding flowers) with their steams wrapped in Red, Yellow and Blue (which as well happen to be our wedding colors, yes i know they're primay colors, lol.) and of course by now im bawling my eyes out. And then he gets on one knee and asks that i spend marry him for time and all eternity. Without a doubt in my mind i said yes, as we both continued to cry as he put the ring on my finger and we held each other in our arms. I could feel the glow I had on my face, as well as the one Mark had on his. Mark then brought some sparking apple cider where he poured some for each of us as we sipped them and began talking about the moment and how happy we are. From then till now i have been able to show of my ring and i'm sure i'll continue showing it off as time goes on. I catch my self sometimes not being used to the ring on my finger, the diamond will catch my eye i can't stop thinking about Mark and the moment i got the ring.
